Spiderman 4 hires Pulitzer

Produces of Spiderman 4 have decided to call upon the services of David Linsay-Abaire, a Pulitzer-prize winning playwright. He won the prize in 2007 for the drama Rabbit Hole. Producers are hoping for another prize winning script in the form of Spiderman 4. The stage version of Rabbit Hole featured Cynthia Nixon and Tyne Daly. They won four Tonys, including the award for ‘Best Play’.
Columbia pictures are keeping these details underwrap. Toby Maguire is set to take the role of Peter Parker and Spiderman with Kirsten Dunst also returning. Sam Raimi is to direct.
Spiderman 4 is to focus on character development. A previous script written by James Vanderbilt has been discarded.

Lizard and Carnage rumoured new villians!

In every spiderman film released to date you have seen small clips of the character Doctor Curt Connors. Played by Dylan Baker, this one-armed college professor gets changed into a human sized lizard after he injects himself with lizard DNA to try and grow back his arm.
Carnage on the other hand, is a serial killer who comes in contact with some of the symbiote seen in Spiderman 3.
These hints came from the sources which told us venom would appear in Spiderman 3 so there is some credibility. They are running out of good villians and Lizard and Carnage are one of the only two viable ones left.

The big question is who is going to be the villian in Spiderman 4. Before we look at who it is, lets recap who we know it isn’t.
Doctor Octopus - drowned
Green Goblins - Father and Son both stabbed by their own gliders
Eddie and Venom - Died in Spiderman 3
Now who could the new villian be? Well some of the ones it could be are: Carnage, Lizard, Sinister Six, Hobgoblin, Morbious, Electro or even Kraven. It is doubtful that Sinister Six could star as Doctor Octopus was a part of them.

Spiderman 4 Release Date Pushed back

Is it sad to hear that the Spiderman 4 release date has been pushed back from 2009 to 2011.
We know that their definitely will be a Spiderman 4 as Sony Pictures have renewed the rights to the film with Marvel.
